In and around Bucknell

The Baron of Beef is in an area of outstanding natural beauty which is perfect for enjoying the outdoors.   This is beautiful walking country.   We have compiled a selection of walks which start from the pub and vary in length and difficulty.

The area also offers an extensive range of cycling paths from country lanes to championship standard mountain bike tracks.   Horse riding is also very popular and our large paddock at the rear of the pub is often used to accommodate horses while their riders relax over lunch and a glass of wine.

We are 20 minutes from Ludlow and 10 minutes from Knighton, a quaint border town.

We have camping and caravanning facilities with electric hook-up. There are also a number of B&B’s in the area that we can recommend. Please ask for details.
